L had pastry in her fridge that needed using up, and so we decided to make some cheese and onion pasties, apple pie/turnover things, and jam tarts! All of which were yummy and so easy peasy to make, that it makes me want to actually be more active when it comes to cooking and baking etc. Everything is so easy to buy and whack in the oven nowadays, that to make something from scratch seems like effort, when really, it's just as easy, and probably a whole lot more fun, and much more satisfying when it comes to the end product.
Also, Dexter has become one of my favourite TV series! There have been a fair few series, and I am VERY behind on this little bandwagon (Seven years behind...) but L has well and truly got me into them - and knowing that she is now six episodes ahead is making me a little fidgety. Damn revision. I wanna catch up with my favourite serial killer!
Now I am home, and my night is being spent with genetics revision, haribo and a chocolate orange. Note the junk food ;) Who invented January exams? They suck.
