As a christmas present from L, I got taken to London for New year's, which I was very excited about :) I watch the London fireworks almost every year on TV, so to experience it first hand was amazing. It did entail a lot of crowds, queues, and a lot more walking than necessary, but it was 100% worth it. I had amazing company, the fireworks were beautiful, and to top it off, they played about 30 seconds of Katy Perry while they were on, which equaled a very happy Laura :)
I haven't made any new year's resolutions yet. 2012 was possibly the best year of my life, I loved almost every second of it. I learnt so much, I gained so much, and I wouldn't change anything for the world. I will always jump on the'eat healthier, drink more water, do more exercise' bandwagon, but until my exams are over, it won't be possible - junk food is my motivation, and I've never seen anybody working out with revision notes!
I already know that 2013 is going to contain some obstacles, but I also know that overcoming those obstacles will make myself, and other situations, much stronger. I hope to travel, to learn, to live, to love, and to create memories that I will treasure for a lifetime. Life is what you make of it, after all.
